Better than walking around Honolulu is riding a bike with the whole family. The weather here makes it a year-round enjoyable experience. You can rent all kinds of bikes and scooters, segways, even 2 person scoot coupes! We recommend becoming familiar with the roads here first, though. And ALWAYS wear your helmet!!

One of the best things about driving in Hawaii is the beautiful scenery. However, the rules of the road are likely different than those in your previous state or country of residence. Hawaii state law requires that all car passengers–including those in the back seat–wear a seat belt at all times. Another law bans all use of handheld electronic devices while driving, although drivers 18 and older may use hands-free devices.
