Hawaii Adaptive Surfing Championships (HASC) featuring elite adaptive surfers from throughout the islands and around the world in the heart of Waikiki at the iconic surf break Queens. Hosted by AccesSurf Hawaii and Pacific Rim Sports. Over 90 surfers with disabilities from 16 nations will be competing in 7 divisions as the pave the path for the inclusion of surfing into the Paralympics These athletes represent a high level of athleticism and dedication from around the world; all coming together to share the love of surfing with Aloha. Volunteer opportunities available. Welcome Ceremony on June 6th @4:30pm to feature Hawaiian blessing, lei draping ceremony of the Duke Kahanamoku Statue, the father of surfing. Local hula dancing and more. Visit the site at the Duke Kahanamoku statue throughout the week to spectate or volunteer.
